Pineapple upside down cake

Well we had a great week, today by request I am making Rigo and pineapple upside down cake. As for the art side, Rigo painting should be done by Wednesday and yesterday I finished my prints for the show at Tinnie's. Now I just have to print them and my photos came in and they look great, they are for the show at the Roswell Museum. So we are almost at the end of January and the time has gone by so fast so now we must really take advantage for our time left. Rigo will still be painting after his show and I will be working on my prints, silk screening and hopefully I can make some money somehow selling my work.

They are working on the postcards and brochures so as soon as I get my hands on them I will share them with everyone.

In the Studio

Well today Rigo and I are both working in the studio. I worked all week and ready for time in the studio. I am getting ready for the show at Tinnie and it will be a collection of new mexico bird prints in a very Charlie Harper influence. I hope everyones weekend is going great, take care

Blogging is hard work

White Sands 2nd wedding anniversary

Well it is a month to the day that I have posted news. I guess I needed a break and the holidays took up my time and I was really sick. Let me give you a rundown of what happened over the past month. We went home to Texas for Thanksgiving and Christmas, the drive was long and it seemed at times we were never going to get home. Rigo and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary, (this would be our church anniversary) I was sick the day of our anniversary, Rigo got me everything I need from the store that day, he only called 3 times to ask me where is that in Wal-Mart. We did not do anything that day due to the fact that I was sick so we waited till this past weekend and went to El Paso, Juarez, White Sands. (I have pics) Rigo's mom is doing great and the surgy was successful. My mom and dad are doing great, I got to see my brother and sister, and Ava and Sophia (my sisters daughters), I love them both so much, I can't wait till Rigo and I have one of our own. I have a funny story to tell about my time with them. I was playing out side with them and Sophia was trying to wipe dirt off my lips but it was one of my many freckle's, i have one right one the edge of my lip. She liked her finger and was trying to wipe if off, I was a great moment and Ava was asking when was I coming over again. Rigo and I go over and over where will we go after the grant and moments like that make it so hard to go any where else but home, family is our heart and soul and we love them way to much to miss more moments.
